MJH Multi is a proud member of the MJH Group, Australia’s sixth largest residential home group. On Tuesday 1 August, 2017, the MJH Group announced a capital alliance with Japan’s Asahi Kasei Homes Corp.
Asahi Kasei Homes has purchased a 40 percent stake in the NSW based building group, with the ongoing strength and opportunity of the Australian residential new housing market appealing to Asahi Kasei Homes expansion strategy.
MJH Group Managing Director Andrew Helmers said the investment by Asahi Kasei Homes is recognition of the success of the business over past 30 years and provides the company with the capital to meet strategic objectives aligned to their vision.
“The expansion into the Australian market by Asahi Kasei Homes enhances our already robust financial position, and provides new opportunities in research and development, home design and construction which will be of great benefit to our customers,” Mr. Helmers said.
Asahi Kasei Homes recognised the strong synergies in construction techniques, building materials, innovation and customer service as key pillars in activating the agreement with MJH Group.
“The alliance between MJH Group and Asahi Kasei Homes will have minimal impact on the day-to-day operation of the MJH Group, for our customers, suppliers and staff it will be business as usual,” Mr. Helmers added.
The existing management team, which has lead the company for more than two decades welcomes the knowledge and insights that will be gained in the partnership with a global company like Asahi Kasei Homes.
